[jira] [Created] (SQOOP-719) Improve user experience with
addtowar.sh script in Sqoop 2
Jarek Jarcec Cecho created SQOOP-719:
----------------------------------------
Summary: Improve user experience with addtowar.sh script in Sqoop 2
Key: SQOOP-719
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SQOOP-719
Project: Sqoop
Issue Type: Improvement
Affects Versions: 2.0.0
Reporter: Jarek Jarcec Cecho
Assignee: Jarek Jarcec Cecho
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 2.0.0
I believe that we should do addtowar.sh script more user friendly:
* Print out all jars that we're adding to war file
* Allow specifying multiple hadoop paths (which is the case of Hadoop 2)
* Introduce basic "auto hadoop version detection" as an optional way
