Yes. This is STILL an issue in both OpenOffice as well as LibreOffice.

I frequently reformat text from spreadsheets in a text editor and this is
driving me NUTS.

I'm not clear if this is a bug or an intended feature but I can not find any
settings that negate this annoying problem. I personally would label this as a
bug.

Why anyone would want an extra line inserted after a paste is beyond me.

Please FIX this?
