Re: Welcome Stratosphere
Posted by Ted Dunning <te...@gmail.com>.
I sent the control messages both ways and verified auth violation as
tdunning@apache
Here is the response. Note that tdunning@apache is explicitly denied.
This looks like LDAP dosn't have all the correct roles.
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
dev-list@stratosphere.incubator.apache.org
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the relay
people.apache.org bypeople.apache.org. [140.211.11.9].
The error that the other server returned was:
535 Authentication failed for tdunning - LDAP Authentication failed for
tdunning: Invalid credentials at ./plugins/auth/authldap line 26 (SMTP AUTH
failed with the remote server)

Hi Ted,
I saw your email to dev@ that was asked to be moderated.
Seems like you are subscribed as "tdunning@apache.org" (from response
from dev-list@), and you were sending email to the dev@ list using
your gmail account.
Have you subscribed your gmail email to the dev@ list too?

Ja,
Same phenomenon for me. I get mod emails and get no complaint when
responding to them. When I send to dev-list, I get a not authenticated
error message.
