!Help! Deserializer array of string
Hi All,
I am trying to using MS SKT3.0 with VB6 soap client call a service written
in Java running with Tomcat 4.0.3/soap 2.3.1.
In my service descriptor I specified deserializer as this:
...
<isd:map encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"
xmlns:x="" qname="x:stringArrayValue"
xml2JavaClassName="org.apache.soap.encoding.soapenc.ArraySerializer"/>
...
My wsdl file like this:
...
<types>
...
<complexType name="ArrayOfString">
<complexContent>
<restriction base="soapenc:Array">
<attribute ref="soapenc:arrayType"
arrayType="string[]"/>
</restriction>
</complexContent>
</complexType>
...
</types>
...
<message name="SetValueOfArrayInput">
<part name="variableName" type="xsd:string"/>
<part name="stringArrayValue" type="s1:ArrayOfString"/>
<part name="type" type="xsd:string"/>
</message>
...
<operation name="SetValueOfArray"
parameterOrder="variableName stringArrayValue type">
<documentation>Sets string array variable
value</documentation>
<input message="tns:SetValueOfArrayInput"/>
<output message="tns:StringReturn"/>
</operation>
When I call this method from VB6, I got a error saying "Type mismatch" and
soap client details saying
"Client: Type conversion failure for element stringArrayValue"
Could anyone please give me an idea what's wrong?
Thanks for your time,
Yong Miao
