AJAX Based Management Console Front Page

Hi all,
I want to get some ideas from you to design the unfinished parts of the
landing page. I don't have any idea about what we are going to put in the
front page of the management console. If you have any ideas about what users
expect when they go to the landing page of the ODE management console please
reply to this. I think some kind of summary about current status of the ODE
engine will be better. But I don't have any idea about the content of that
summary and how I can get it. I know that current Process and Instance
Management API didn't expose that kind of summary. I think we have to
improve the REST API to provide this kind of information or we can introduce
new management service for that. Please feel free to comment on this.

Hi,
I really like your idea. If you can point out what modules I have to look to
get some idea about this that will be really help full. Also does ODE
support this kind of information, inside the engine. Can I do implement this
API with the help of process store or I have to use any other things. Also I
think I don't have time to finish all those features during summer of code
time. But I'll work on this even after the summer of code. Is that ok for
you. Also I get to know about web based BPEL editor call Oryx and it is
released under MIT license. I think in the future we can integrate some
thing like that into ODE. Also I need some help on integrating what I have
done to ODE. How can integrate this in to current ODE build system and
configure it to work with ODE axis2 based distribution using the build
system. I don't have experience with Buildr. Can some one help me on this.

I would expect some sort of dashboard with the 5 or 10 latest deployed
process definitions, the number of successfully executed and failed
processes in the last day or week and maybe some message related stats as
well. But as you mentioned we don't have an API providing those at the
moment so you would have to extend what we have.
