Well, there is a difference between changing the JDK platforms used to build/test vs. the ones used to run Derby: removing support for a platform has documentation impact, so you'll need to file a doc subtask for DERBY-6857, I think. I used to have a list of the topics that are affected -- maybe I can come up with one.
