[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-7166) http://uima-ducc-vm.apache.org:42133/

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-7166?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13864885#comment-13864885 ]

Gavin commented on INFRA-7166:
------------------------------

With our VMs all ports are closed by default, we need to enable them upon request. (I'll consider this ticket as such).

I'll open http shortly.

What is the https to be used for? We reserve https to go through a proxy first and only for applications that need it for logins. I've seen no mention thus far to Infra that this demo server needs secure logins.

Thanks

> I installed the DUCC code and started. The DUCC WebServer uses ports 42133 (http) and 42155 (https).
> When I try to visit http://uima-ducc-vm.apache.org:42133/ from a browser on my laptop I get the message "The connection has timed out".
> Something I'm doing wrong?
> Thanks.
