removing a user from the wiki

How do I request a user be removed from having wiki rights?

http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/~angosso.com

Spammed a bunch of plugin pages and defaced the HDIV plugin page.

You do, you did, you were, and it was here. ;-)

Despite his pirate penchant, Dave is in fact a candidate. Our rule around
here is that any PMC member can have cwiki admin rights for the asking.

As for spammers, I have, in the past, summarily zapped them from cwiki. If
Confluence won't let you do that (because they have created content), you
can remove them from all groups, which amounts to pretty much the same
thing.

I have a penchant for yelling "Arrrrr ye scurvy dogs, prepare to be
boarded!" which might be a strike against me.

So many rules to remember...

It also looks like I have the rights to make you a confluence admin,
Dave. I think I asked on this list and was granted, but I can't
remember if it was here or infra. Anyhow, are there any rules /
guidelines / issues with me granting Dave admin rights? He seems a
likely candidate for a cwiki admin :).

Well, I could change his account name to 'Big Spammin' Foo' but, I
figured that wouldn't be appropriate. I posted the question to infra
to see if there is some approved method of dealing with spammers. If I
don't hear back, I'll get rid of him shortly.

Just like creating a "<spamming-user-name> haters group" in facebook? :-D

Remove him, unless "among other things" includes more entertaining
ideas. I already deleted all the pages and reverted HDIV.

Thanks!

I have admin rights (AFAICT), it looks like I can remove him or change
his password (among other things, but those two seem to be the most
appropriate). Let me know which you think would work best.
