[jira] [Created] (FLINK-20677) Let JobManagerRunner return JobManagerRunnerResult to better distinguish result cases

Till Rohrmann created FLINK-20677:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Let JobManagerRunner return JobManagerRunnerResult to better distinguish result cases
                 Key: FLINK-20677
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-20677
             Project: Flink
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Runtime / Coordination
    Affects Versions: 1.13.0
            Reporter: Till Rohrmann
            Assignee: Till Rohrmann
             Fix For: 1.13.0

In order to better distinguish the result cases of the {{JobManagerRunner}} I propose to introduce a {{JobManagerRunnerResult}} which can have the values

1) the job was finished successfully
2) the job was not finished
3) the job initialization failed (this is required in order to handle job initialization failures properly)
