Documentation Changes: version and date

Hello,

Would it be possible to indicate a version and/or date in the documentation pages, so one can easily find out what is new or changed in the documentation?

With the monthly releases it is difficult to find out (keep up-to-date) what has changed in the documentation. I don't use drill fulltime and thus I frequently have to consult the very good documentation, but I never know if I have to review certain aspects or e.g. test new features.

Yes, there is some of it in the release notes and yes, one could check on github, but a simple version and date in the header of each page would make it easier.

But maybe others have a different idea?

Greetings,

Uwe

Here's a solution we start using right away if everybody agrees. See comment
