[jira] [Created] (INFRA-6140) ERROR: Failed to archive test
reports: OOME
stack created INFRA-6140:
----------------------------
Summary: ERROR: Failed to archive test reports: OOME
Key: INFRA-6140
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-6140
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Task
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Components: Jenkins
Reporter: stack
In our precommit builds, they often fail archiving tests with an OutOfMemoryError. Here is an example on the tail of this console output: https://builds.apache.org/view/H-L/view/HBase/job/PreCommit-HBASE-Build/5247/console
Does infra have any suggestion for us? Does jenkins on the hadoop* machiens need more memory alloted?
Related, can infra install jdk7 on these machines (if already there, what is is the path to it? Thanks).
And finally, it seems like our precommit builds only work on a subset of the available hadoop boxes. Does know infra know why and if not, who should we speak to about it?
Thanks. I am Michael from the HBase project.
