About derby automatic checkpointing issue!

Hi, Dear Sunitha Kambhampati. I am a graduate student of CS. I am looking for a research topic for my graduate thesis. I am interested in the "Autonomic checkpointing timing and log file size" issue reported by you. I want to know have you already finished this issue?or in progress?I am a new guy of Derby, I really need some suggestions from you.
