Thanks for the pull request Pascal.  Once Travis CI approves it, I'll get it committed.

A minor note for future tickets...
Please put the JIRA ticket number (with caps and a dash, e.g. THRIFT-3245) in the title of the pull request.  That allows the automation infrastructure to link everything together better.
