[jira] [Commented] (OAK-1021) Wrong value for Segment#MEDIUM_LIMIT

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-1021?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13770569#comment-13770569 ]

Thomas Mueller commented on OAK-1021:
-------------------------------------

To make it completely clear, I would even use:

{code}
MEDIUM_LIMIT = (1 << (16 - 2)) + SMALL_LIMIT;
{code}

(even thought (1 << 16-2) gives the same result)

> Wrong value for Segment#MEDIUM_LIMIT
> ------------------------------------
>
>                 Key: OAK-1021
>                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-1021
>             Project: Jackrabbit Oak
>          Issue Type: Bug
>          Components: segmentmk
>            Reporter: Michael Dürig
>
> That value is defined as
> {code}
> SMALL_LIMIT = 1 << 7;
> MEDIUM_LIMIT = 1 << (16-2) + SMALL_LIMIT;
> {code}
> However it should most likely be
> {code}
> MEDIUM_LIMIT = (1 << 16-2) + SMALL_LIMIT;
> {code}
