Calcite will call `byte[].toString` because BeamSQL codegen read byte[] from Row to calcite (see: https://github.com/apache/beam/blob/master/sdks/java/extensions/sql/src/main/java/org/apache/beam/sdk/extensions/sql/impl/rel/BeamCalcRel.java#L334).
