No. SA does (with amavisd-new) exactly what I want it to do, and does it well. There's lots of stuff I don't use, like marking spam and keeping scores, but that's because years of personal experience demonstrated near-zero value. As I have it configured today it works well without having to mark anything ;-)

The only thing I'd really like is more or less cosmetic. I would like
the ability to split rule definition statements over more than one
line.

I dislike having to scroll in order to read a line in any programming
language and will go out of my way to avoid lines that exceed 80
characters. In SA rules this means I frequently break a logically single
rule into several lesser rules with underscore prefixed names which are
then combined with a meta-rule. I suspect that this structure runs
slower than one giant rule would but its rather easier to read.

Apart from that SA does exactly what I want it to do. My thanks to all
the developers for writing such a good, extendable and customizable
package.
