Submitting the data from velocity template using pluto

Hi,

We are using velocity template for our view instead of jsp's. We are
developing portlets using Pluto Portal Container. 

We are not able to submit the form from Velocity template.

Our scenario is like this.

We have a portlet. We are forwarding it to a servlet which extends velocity
portlet. This servelet renders it to a velocity template. So view is working
fine. But when i enter some data in the form which is there in velocity
template, i am not getting any values from render request or context. Any
help on this appreciated.
