[c-1.8.1] media descriptor

Hi everybody around!

I am using the UP.Sim 4.1 for simulating output from cocoon to a Wap-Device.
The porfolio example is running. My own code xml document works if
configured
like the portfolio example.

Problem: I have an XML to XML to HTML or now an XML to XML to WML
conversion.
The media descriptor in ... media="wap"  works well wenn XML to WML or HTML
is
transformed. Is the media descriptor inherited to the following (converted,
transformed)
document? Or is the media descriptor only available at the beginning?

When inserting an XSP parser run the HTML transformation is invoked instead
of
the WML transformation. By transforming an XML to WML document works, when
the
XML document needs no XSP processing. if XSP-Processing is needed an HTML
transformation
is invoked. Seems to me that the media descriptor is only correct available
at the
beginning of any invocation. Is there a method that this information is
"inherited"
or transfered to make it available to all other subsequent parser runs?
