We've recently added support for building and executing some of the Spark tests in Appveyor (SPARK-17200 and https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/14859)

It would be great if this could be integrated from the main apache/spark repository as well.

My guess is that this should be similar to INFRA-11294 which enabled https://ci.appveyor.com/project/ApacheSoftwareFoundation/thrift
