How to upgrade Karaf 3.0.x to use mina-core 2.0.13

Hello sir,

I'm using customized version of karaf 3.0.x. I want to upgrade it to use
mina-core 2.0.13, the current version of mina-core is 2.0.7 which has some
high CPU usage iusses. There have been fixes in this package that
specifically address high CPU usage. for example,
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRMINA-988 has a fix in version
2.0.9.

Please provide me some pointer to build my karaf to use mina-core 2.0.13.

Hi Vinod,

what I explained before it's more to update an existing Karaf.

If you want to build Karaf yourself, you can clone the git repo and then 
update the mina-core version in the main pom.xml.

Hi JB,

Thanks for quick reply. Just a question, I'm new to build karaf, where
exactly I have to update version in the standard features repo for the ssh
feature. While running the maven build, I find the in logs 'Installing
bundle mvn:org.apache.mina/mina-core/2.0.7' but do not know where to update
the version to reflect 2.0.13.

Hi Vinod,

You will have to update the client and the features.

It's straight forward:
- update the system folder with mina-core 2.0.13
- for the client, you have to update bin/client to refer the mina-core 
jar from the system folder
- update version in the standard features repo (for the ssh feature)
