 LEGACY store assignment policy is disallowed in data source v2. However, it's allowed to write with DataFrameWriteV2 API. The following code will work without errors.

spark.sql("set spark.sql.storeAssginmentPolicy=LEGACY")
df.writeTo($v2Table).append() {code}
