[jira] [Created] (SPARK-28640) Only give warning when session catalog is not defined

John Zhuge created SPARK-28640:
----------------------------------

Summary: Only give warning when session catalog is not defined
                 Key: SPARK-28640
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-28640
             Project: Spark
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: SQL
    Affects Versions: 3.0.0
            Reporter: John Zhuge

LookupCatalog.sessionCatalog logs an error message and the exception stack upon any nonfatal exception. When session catalog is not defined, this may alarm the user unnecessarily. It should be enough to give a warning and return None.
