[Issue 128359] New: Drawing function in the Drawing toolbar should
remain active after releasing the mouse button
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=128359
Issue ID: 128359
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Drawing function in the Drawing toolbar should remain
active after releasing the mouse button
Product: Draw
Version: 4.1.7
Hardware: Mac
OS: macOS 10.13
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: Minor
Priority: P5 (lowest)
Component: editing
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: nmatloob@asu.edu
Target Milestone: ---
While the curve function is selected from the drawing toolbar, the user should
be able to remain this function active to be able to draw another object from
the same type without the need to re-clicking every time the user releases the
mouse button. This problem can be annoying due to the tedious process that the
user has to go through to draw a complete object using the curve function from
the drawing toolbar.
Steps:
1.Open OpenOffice.
2.Select Drawing to open a blank page to draw on.
3.To start drawing select the curve function from the Drawing toolbar located
at the bottom of the page.
4.If the drawing toolbar is not visible Click View > Toolbars > Drawing.
5.After selecting the curve function the mouse changes to
6.Start to draw an object, but as soon as you release the mouse button the
mouse go back to original, which means that you need to select the curve
function again to be able to continue drawing.

Symbols keep selected, if you double-click the icon. Than you can draw several
rectangles without clicking the icon again, for example.
Doesn't that work on Mac?
