DO NOT REPLY [Bug 50407] New: Sessions stickyness issue.

https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=50407

           Summary: Sessions stickyness issue.
           Product: Tomcat Connectors
           Version: 1.2.28
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_jk
        AssignedTo: dev@tomcat.apache.org
        ReportedBy: dparmar@commerceinsurance.com

We have two Apache webservers(2.2.15) and two Tomcat servers(5.5.27.

I am using mod_jk(1.2.28) to provide a Load balancing among two tomcat
instances. Somehow when I Start the application & try to login i get a message
" Session has expired. Please Refresh your browser to start a new session" .

The application works ok if I comment out the second worker defination from the
worker.properties file.

I believe there is an issue with the Session Stickyness.

We need this resolved ASAP as our target production date is 11/15/2010

Bugzilla is not a support forum.

Sounds like this was something that should have been posted to the user list
before filing: sticky sessions work in many environments.
