h2.Scenario

Opening HBase UI pages, checking browser developer console.

 

h2.Actual result

HBase UI always tries to load {{userSnapshots.jsp}} with an AJAX request on all UI pages - *NOK* (x)

This happens even on RegionServer UI or REST UI where this call usually fails with HTTP 500.

h2.Expected result

HBase UI *should only load {{userSnapshots.jsp}} on the Master UI status page* because only that page has the Snapshots section (div with {{tab_userSnapshots}} ID)

h2.Additional information

HBase UI pages (usually footer.jsp files) are including the {{/static/js/tab.js}} file which always fires an AJAX request to load {{userSnapshots.jsp}} from the server and load the response into the Snapshots section (div with {{tab_userSnapshots}} ID).
