[jira] [Updated] (ACCUMULO-3626) Reset Security should warn and
confirm
Christopher Tubbs updated ACCUMULO-3626:
----------------------------------------
Affects Version/s: 1.7.0
Fix Version/s: (was: 1.7.1)
(was: 1.6.3)
(was: 1.5.3)
Labels: newbie operations supportability (was: operations supportability)
Since this is a change in behavior (however slight) and doesn't reflect a bug, I'm updating the version to just the latest (1.8.0). It wouldn't be a change in the API (strictly speaking), but the change would break the spirit of Semver.
If somebody wants to apply this change to a bugfix on a previous release, we can/should discuss it, but until there's an actual patch (or at least a volunteer assignee) the point is kind of moot.

> the "accumulo init --reset-security" command doesn't provide any warning that it will remove all users from the system.
> It should do this and require user confirmation.
