I am reporting this as [~rmetzler] mentioned offline that it was working in the past.
At the moment it is not possible to submit jobs directly from the IDE. Both the Java and the Scala quickstart guides fail on both 0.8.1 and 0.9-SNAPSHOT with ClassNotFoundException exceptions.
To reproduce the error, run the quickstart scripts and change the ExecutionEnvironment initialization:
