svn on fc4

Hi,

We use an SVN server (via apache) that runs on FC4. Currently the version
installed there is 1.2.3 - because that was the last RPM release from
Fedora.

Would it be better for us to rely on Subversion's source releases and
build/install ourselves? Which is the more stable approach?
