from your two massive commits broken into 2x38 commit messages...

Before you make a new one... Make sure tvolkert@apache.org now goes
thru, for instance by a small commit and see if it shows up. If not,
please subscribe with the @apache mail address.

Aha. I had set up tvolkert@apache.org as a separate Gmail "account"
and subscribed from that account, but I now see that Gmail still sets
the Sender and Return-Path email headers to tvolkert@gmail.com (even
though the From is tvolkert@apache.org), meaning I subscribed under
the wrong address. I've fixed the situation now.

It does. But the commit email will be FROM:tvolkert@apache.org, and
you are not subscribed as that, hence the moderation request to me
(and others). So, do a small commit. And if it doesn't arrive within a
minute, please subscribe with the @apache.org address. I am going to
sleep now, and not sure who else is moderator....

Can you elaborate? I checked out the code with 'svn checkout
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/pivot/ pivot-all --username
tvolkert', so I figured my codebase would be authenticated with the
tvolkert@apache.org username. I guess that didn't happen :-(
