Repeated jars

Hi,

I wonder why in the James distribution several jar libraries are
duplicated in the lib directory and inside the apps/james.sar, like e.g.

    * cornerstone.jar
    * activation.jar
    * ...

Does anybody know why?

Best regards
    David Pérez
