Postal adress in ofbiz
he Hello,
I hae a mistake with ofbiz :
i have a mistake with the party, I have import party data from another database to ofbiz database.
When i'm in the web ofbiz party and i'want to update or delete the postal adress i'have put i'have an error message :
org.ofbiz.webapp.event.EventHandlerException: Service invocation error (Commit transaction failed)
Could you say me what could be the reason.
i use the table : contact-mech,postal adress,partycontactmechpurpose,partycontactmech.
Is there another table where i need to put data?
When i try to delete a general adress location from the web screen that do what you can see on attached file, i put alos a console log.

Hi Jack ,
In Freemarker we can comment like this <#-- Begin Template
component://common/webcommon/includes/header.ftl -->
Thanks

Thanks for all for help
I'have found the mistake.
I'haven't see the table company and if you don't put the party id here for a
company you cannot modify or delete postal adress.
I'm always interesting in an explanation on how to you use the service :
fill parameters, and you call it?
thanks you

Hi,
thanks for you help, it's very interresting.
Could you explain me more, how do you use the service : how do you fill
parameters, and how do you call it?
could you explain me with a short example?
Thanks you

Groovy is our current scripting language of choice and is mostly used within screen definitions for data preparation although the integration does support using groovy scripts for services and controller events. BeanShell was used before we integrated groovy and is still supported but it isn't used in the codebase any more.

Hello,
I have some small questions regarding the BeanShell scripts. How common
is it? Will it often used in OFBiz? What do you prefer, Java or BSH or
something else? I am a little confused about the selection of the
various languages. Many thanks in advance.
