[jira] [Updated] (DERBY-5655) Preformatted text should not be used for graphic

Kim Haase updated DERBY-5655:
-----------------------------

    Attachment: cdevcsecureroles.html
                DERBY-5565.diff

Attaching DERBY-5565.diff and cdevcsecureroles.html. This patch removes the ASCII art from the "Using SQL roles" topic and replaces it with descriptive language.

I believe this is the last accessibility task remaining for the Derby docs, but I can't absolutely rule out finding more.

> The "Using SQL Roles" topic (http://db.apache.org/derby/docs/dev/devguide/cdevcsecureroles.html) uses preformatted text (a codeblock in DITA) to convey graphic information. This would really confuse screen readers. Sadly, we seem to have no way to create graphics that are compatible with those already in the manuals (Developer's Guide and Tuning only). I see no alternative to removing the graphic and its introductory paragraph, for the time being at least.
