Problems performing svn checkout of doc files

Hi -

I am trying to use the following command to checkout a copy of the doc files:

svn checkout https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/db/derby/docs

and I get this response:

svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/repos/asf/db/derby/docs'
svn: PROPFIND of '/repos/asf/db/derby/docs': could not connect to server (https:
//svn.apache.org)

Anyone aware of server problems at apache?

The Apache services monitoring page shows that eris, which hosts svn,
is currently down:

http://monitoring.apache.org/status/

If it appears in red on this page, then infrastructure already knows
about it and is working on a solution.
