NODE JS INTERACTION WITH KAFKA

Hi,
I have implemented Kakfa with node js using node module node-kafka.
node version : 10.17
node-kafka : 5.0.0

I am using consumer groups and default producers.
The issue that I am facing is that the consumers are not able to consume
the messages randomly.
Any help would be appreciated.
