[jira] Created: (WSCOMMONS-6) The schema builder does not resolve the namespace for unqualified type values

The schema builder does not resolve the namespace for unqualified type values
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

         Key: WSCOMMONS-6
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WSCOMMONS-6
     Project: WS-Commons
        Type: Bug
  Components: XmlSchema
 Environment: All
    Reporter: Ajith Harshana Ranabahu
 Assigned to: Ajith Harshana Ranabahu

XmlSchema fails to correctly process the following schema
<schema xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:xsd1="http://soapinterop.org/xsd"
targetNamespace="http://soapinterop.org/xsd"
elementFormDefault="qualified">
       <element name="complexElt">
               <complexType>
                       <sequence>
                               <element name="name" type="string"/>
                               <element name="age" type="int"/>
                       </sequence>
               </complexType>
       </element>
</schema>
it should pick up string as xs:string since the default namespace is http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema

Posted by "Ajith Harshana Ranabahu (JIRA)" <ji...@apache.org>.
     [ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WSCOMMONS-6?page=all ]

Ajith Harshana Ranabahu resolved WSCOMMONS-6:

    Resolution: Fixed

Done - Now the schema builder takes the default namespace as the namespace for these unqualified attribute values
