Hi all,
The followings are the test about the bugs of the Kupu & BXE:
(A) Revised the Kupu Image(Bug ID: 46653) and Table(Bug ID: 45488) bugs,
two editors test results:
Kupu Bug List (IE7):
1, add an underscore
does not work
2, add the background color does
not work, can only make the font bold
3, center justify and definition List
show 415 error
Kupu Bug List (FireFox2):
1, add an underscore
does not work
2, add the background color does
not work
3, center justify and definition List
show 415 error
4, image
use the editor to insert a picture, does not display, but when i left the
editor, the image i have inserted shows in the page i have edited
BXE Bug List (FireFox2):
1, image
the same to Kupu Bug List(FireFox2) -- 4
2, the Toolbar
can not be operated pop-up prompt box
(B) No action to amend the Kupu Image and Table Bug, 2 Editor test
results:
Kupu Bug List (IE7):

4, control font display (center, left, right)
reported that 415 error

(C) Compatibility
Kupu's Bug unmodified:
1) kupu new, edit, save, and then BXE open, edit, save
Questions exist, there will be an error page reported
2) BXE new, edit, save, and then use Kupu open, edit, save
Problem exist, with Kupu did not open the Edit circumstances and
click save button, will be reported 415 error
Kupu The Bug has been modified:
1) kupu new, edit, save, and then BXE open, edit, save
Questions exist, picture can not be displayed
2) BXE new, edit, save, and then use Kupu open, edit, save
No problem
Is there someone who has solved the above problems? How to?

Thank you for your submission. Kupu will not be supported in future versions. I
think the BXE problem has been cleared up as well.

The underscore tag is not supported in XHTML, which is why it doesn't show up.
The cleanup code that runs after you submit just removes it, I believe. Center
justify is most likely done with the center tag, which also is not supported in
XHTML. Instead of removing, it appears to blow up. You can use styles to
support both of these features. The problem is making it work on save and on
load into Kupu. You could also hack the validating rng to support those
options.
The compatibility issue probably will never be fixed. Getting two different
editors to play nicely on the same content is quite difficult. The suggestion
is to pick one editor and stick with it. If you need to support multiple
editors for different users, make sure there is no overlap in the pages they
edit.
