Export Classification Tomcat

Dear all,

on http://www.apache.org/licenses/exports/, it is mentioned that "all
ASF software product versions that do not fit those two [ECCN 5D002 or
5D992 <http://www.access.gpo.gov/bis/ear/txt/ccl5-pt2.txt>]
classifications are noted as ECCN "n/a" (not applicable) or not included
in the matrix."

As Tomcat is not listed in the matrix, can you confirm that it does not
fit into the ECCN 5D002 or 5D992 classifications?

Thanks in advance,
Martin

Martin, please do not assume that.

the fact that an ASF project has or has not properly recorded their export
notices in /licenses/exports/ is but one mechanism by which they can notify
the BIS of the ***ASF's notice requirements***.

Your specific notification requirements differ based on how what and how
your are exporting something containing ASF code, and on that the ASF can
and will offer no advise; please consult your own export and legal counsel.
