[jira] Created: (WSS-168) Verification/Decryption failure with a DN String from a different provider

Verification/Decryption failure with a DN String from a different provider
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: WSS-168
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WSS-168
             Project: WSS4J
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: WSS4J Core
    Affects Versions: 1.5.5
            Reporter: Colm O hEigeartaigh
            Assignee: Colm O hEigeartaigh
             Fix For: 1.5.6

The fix for WSS-86:

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WSS-86

introduced another problem. If BouncyCastle is used to load a cert, the X509Certificate object then has a DN with the components reversed, compared to Sun's X509Certificate implementation, and this is causing problems on the processing side.
