Summary: connection error with keepalive with ie6
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.2.3
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_setenvif
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: adriaanvk@gmail.com

Between apache2 and ie6 there will be keep-alive connections. The following went
wrong:
- create a lot of http traffic, e.g. a site with a lot of pictures
- stop browsing, with netstat view the open connections by http keepalives (all
10 pipes allowed for ie6 should be opened)
- after (default) 15 seconds, apache2 closes the keepalive connections, in
netstat you see that for some seconds all pipes have the state wait_close
- click on e.g. a button in your webpage, because all connections are busy, no
connection can be created, which results in a connection error.

What seems to be wrong is that e.g. iis does not set the connection to
wait_close, but closes the connection completely in one step.

My fix for this problem is to prevent apache2 to keep alive connections to ie6.
So in /etc/apache2/apache2.conf i add after <IfModule mod_setenvif.c> the line:
BrowserMatch "MSIE 6\.0;" nokeepalive

Does not seem to be a Apache bug
