manager reload fails and disables app - IncompatibleClassChangeError in JspServlet
Summary: manager reload fails and disables app -
IncompatibleClassChangeError in JspServlet
Product: Tomcat 5
Version: Nightly Build
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: Other
Component: Catalina
AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: hoju@visi.com
Using the nightly build from 2003-05-07, I get the following exception when
using the manager app to reload any webapp...
FAIL - Encountered exception java.lang.IncompatibleClassChangeError:
org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet
That message is displayed in the manager app's "Message" field near the top of
the page in the manager html view.
Looking in the logs, there really is no indication that an error is happening.
Maybe my debug level is too low?
Anyway, the manager reload is completely broken because of this issue
