Please make sure the Beam PPMC and mentors are aware of this ticket.
Generally, downstream folks are free to do whatever they like with ASF project output. The key questions will be
1) What will you call this tailored SDK?
2) If the answer to #1 includes ASF trademarks, then how will this derivative sdk be assembled? (Ideally the answer will be that a tarball from dist.apache will be downloaded and a sequence of patches applied.)
