There is no way to set up <meta name="description"> of page thru graphical admin interface manually. meta-description automatically sets up equally to title.
This possibility is very useful for successfully cooperation of site with search engines and catalogs.
So, there is a wish for this new feature.

Vivek, please review if this feature is already implemented with the new SiteManager.
If now, consider if this is easily/quickly doable, otherwise maybe better bump the fix version to 2.2.1

Yes, Site manager would allow to add meta-data to all jetspeed documents.
