   - Remove `xdocs` directory
   - Add `docs` directory containing markdown replacements for stylebook documentation
   - Add `docs/doxygen` directory containing replacement doxygen API reference configuration
   - Add CMake support for generating doxygen documentation (target `doc-api`)
   
   New documentation drops outdated and incorrect parts which are no longer useful or applicable.  Build instructions updated to document CMake.  Source repository refers to Git rather than Subversion.
