[jira] [Created] (SEDONA-70) Sedona-Zeppelin Helium package not working / displayed in Zeppelin notebook?

Thorben Freitag created SEDONA-70:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Sedona-Zeppelin Helium package not working / displayed in Zeppelin notebook?
                 Key: SEDONA-70
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SEDONA-70
             Project: Apache Sedona
          Issue Type: Bug
         Environment: Sedona 1.0.1
Zeppelin 0.10.0 (via DockerDesktop - Linux 5.10.16.3-microsoft-standard-WS)
Spark 3.0.3
            Reporter: Thorben Freitag

When running Apache Zeppelin (0.10.0) via Docker Desktop on Windows 10 (Linux kernel for WSL2) + Spark (3.0.3) + Sedona (1.0.1), the the Sedona-Zeppelin Helium package is enabled but not working as expected. There is no "globe"-button to display the map when running %sql inside a spark notebook.

I created a helium folder with a sedona-zeppelin.json, as described on the installation page ([https://sedona.apache.org/download/zeppelin/#install-sedona-zeppelin)]. The artifacts was adapted to the folder location of sedonas zeppelin folder.

Tried different versions of the sedona-zeppelin package, also geospark versions instead sedona, other versions of spark and of zeppelin (other docker images).
