Wonky commits

Alright, so I think what happened is that somehow my text-base got screwed
up(as in replaced with my working copy). So when I tried to commit, it knew
there was a difference, but somehow, the server saved it as an empty file.

Probably something we should look at.

I was under the (perhaps mistaken) impression that your working copy only
thought you did a real commit if you specify a rev number.

Ah! I bet that was it!

This *exact* same "bug" happened to Mike Pilato, and it turned out
that he had accidentally committed to an xml file -- which is
currently a destructive operation (i.e. your wc thinks you did a real
commit).

Ah. You played around and paid the price, heh. Okay; at least we
know it's not as urgent as it might have been, then.

I am pretty sure that what happened is that my text-base got overridden by
my working copy versions. As for how that happened, I think it is because
I was playing around with 'svn ci --xml-file patch.xml'. I _DO_ plan on
investigating more though.

Yeeps. Hmmm, do you have a repro case?
