First; does each sub-app have it's own web.config?  Are they truly distict
apps?

Second; if you invert the order, does it affect the result (reversing the
order of the AspNetMount directives for the sub and main apps?)

If you omit the sub-mounts altogether, what happens?

Finally, please provide some error.log results.  You might want to tweak the
loglevel to debug to get even more detail.
