[jira] [Commented] (DAFFODIL-2028) Enable daffodil-test tests to
run on IBM DFDL where possible

Michael Beckerle commented on DAFFODIL-2028:
--------------------------------------------
Unassigning, lowering priority - We have all the published DFDL schemas working now, so getting this test suite to work is lower priority unless it becomes important as a proof point of interoperability.
Note that the daffodil-test-ibm1 module of tests does interoperate with IBM DFDL. So this is just about the larger 3000+ tests in daffodil-test.

> which is about experience in interoperability.
> Mike Beckerle created a branch which automatically detects tests that use inputValueCalc/OutputValueCalc and hiddenGroups, and skips them, also doesn't run negative tests.
> This is on github at https://github.com/mbeckerle/incubator-daffodil branch daffodil-2028-crossTest.
> It does things like globally replace all encodingErrorPolicy="replace" with encodingErrorPolicy="error".
