Submitting Patches
I've got a few pet issues that I want to fix (if I get the time).
However, I was wondering how you like patches to be submitted - do you
prefer the full class, or just a patch created with the patch/diff unix
tools ? (presuming I can get them to run on Windows ;)
Specifically, if I get the chance, I will be attempting to fix bug 40077
that I just submitted - this may involve changing a large number of gui
classes...

Re: Submitting Patches
Posted by sebb <se...@gmail.com>.
Patches are best provided as "unified diff" - this is the format used
by the Eclipse (and other) IDEs. (Eclipse works well on Windows)
For new classes, just provide the file.
Note that the rules for source file headers have just changed - see
http://www.apache.org/legal/src-headers.html
