Service runs as System user instead of Apache or LocalService user
Summary: Service runs as System user instead of Apache or
LocalService user
Product: Apache httpd-2.0
Version: 2.0.52
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: Core
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: OvdSpek@LIACS.NL
The Apache installer install Apache as service. However, the user is set to
System.
I think it should be set to a lower-privilege user, like Apacke or LocalService.
