Anyone aware of any major issues with AAR deployment on Tomcat?

At my current project we are using Axis2 and Tomcat. We are also using
Spring for dependency injection. Question arised if we deploy our services
as war or aar.

Can anyone share your experience using AAR deployment in production?
Was there any issues that I should be aware of?
